1. Exhibition “Azul” - Lagos

The exhibition “Azul” by Maria João Gomes, creator of the Palmas Douradas brand, celebrates the tradition of "empreita", the weaving of Algarve palm. The process begins with the harvesting of palm in the Algarve hills, followed by drying, preparation, and weaving to create unique design pieces. These items, linked to fashion and home decor, preserve a craft technique that enriches the cultural heritage of the Algarve.

The exhibition runs at the Lagos Cultural Centre from 5 October to 2 November, with free entry.

2. Festival Walk & Art Fest – Barão de São João, Lagos

The Almargem association, in collaboration with the Lagos Council, organised another edition of the festival in the village of Barão de São João. The event offers activities for all ages, including long, short, and themed walks. It also features workshops as part of a diverse programme available online.

The festival takes place on the 1st, 2nd, and 3rd of November.

3. Pedra Dura, Algarve Dance Festival – Lagos

Do you enjoy moving to the rhythm of music? If so, this festival is for you! Launched in 2022, the Pedra Dura Festival continues to bring new cultural approaches to the region.
